I know that it’s been awhile, but I’m back with a super yummy recipe just in time for summer. Açaí bowls are delicious and there are so many ways to customize the bowl just the way that you like. Today I will share with you my favorite nutrient-packed homemade açaí bowl recipe.
Base:
- 1 packet of frozen açaí base
- 1 cup frozen mango
- 1 scoop of vanilla protein powder
- 1 tablespoon psyllium husk
- 1 teaspoon of spirulina powder
- Handful of kale and spinach leaves (blend with flax/almond/coconut milk before adding other ingredients to minimize chunks)
- 1/2 cup blueberries
- 1/2 cup strawberries
- Flax/almond/coconut milk added until the mix blends
Toppings (all optional):
- Strawberries
- Blueberries
- Coconut flakes
- Chia seeds
- Sprinkle of cinnamon
